The Challenge: After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, much of New Orleans was left devastated.  NOLA resident and famed actor Brad Pitt wanted to do his part in rebuilding this beloved city, and he chose to build a number of homes in the Ninth Ward. Mr. Pitt wanted these homes to be eco-friendly, energy efficient, and all-in-all cutting edge. But NOLA is known as an area of high-humidity and voracious termites. Building with wood is the most sustainable way to build and Mr. Pitt wanted to use wood, but how could that wood be protected?

The Solution: NexGen Original.  Mr. Pitt chose to use our original product that provides warranted protection from mould, rot, decay, and insect damage, including all termites.  As the picture below shows, after more than a decade both the houses and Mr. Pitt still look great!
